IMPACT a dba of Admit Computer Services, Inc. reports 25% growth for 2008

Farmingdale, NY – Dennis Labriola, President and CEO of IMPACT has announced a 25% growth of revenue for 2008 over 2007. “This past year was strong for us even with the soft economy”, Labriola states. “We have worked very hard on strategic planning and positioning in the marketplace as well as producing strong technology and services.” Earlier this year IMPACT announced the establishment of an R&D office in Charlotte, NC for new product development, while maintaining engineering staff in New York to support and enhance their existing product line. Labriola has also realigned the firm’s management team by elevating 2 long time staff members Steve Hunt to VP of Engineering and Mike Nizich to VP of Sales and Operations. Gary Sperduto, the firm’s VP of Technology, has taken the reigns of the newly formed R&D department and has relocated to Charlotte. “Our management team,” states Labriola, “has never been stronger and we are all pulling in the same direction. From a business perspective we are all proud that we are growing, but that is not the complete story. We also want to achieve a high level of significance with what we do corporately as well as individually. Our motto here is “what we do is important… what we do saves lives…. literally”.

IMPACT provides technology to 120 law enforcement entities across the northeast including police departments, sheriff’s offices, EMS, Fire, College Campuses and private security. IMPACT also services the local court and justice system and other municipal agencies including parking authorities and district attorneys.

This past January Labriola was honored by the Nassau County franchise of The Alternate Board (TAB). Steve Davies, President states, "Every year The Alternative Board of Nassau County www.tabli.com holds an awards ceremony to recognize the outstanding business achievements of its 60 members.  Each of the 8 peer boards in Nassau County votes for the member that they think has made the most progress during the year, and there are several other special awards to recognize extraordinary business or personal growth.“

“One of the special awards handed out in January 2009 was the "Becoming CEO" award, given to Dennis Labriola.  This award recognizes people who have managed to move from being in the trenches and running the company from the inside to creating structure and a management team that enables them to function in a greater CEO capacity.  Dennis has been working on this vision for a number of years and has been very effective at putting in place systems and procedures to run his business more effectively.  This has led to significant growth in Impact, which underlines Dennis's impressive accomplishment."

“Any time someone receives an honor, states Labriola, they should always look around to see who really did the work. In my case it is my management team, my employees and my clients as we all work together to make our little piece of the world a better place. I thank The Alternate Board not just for this honor but for being my coaching team, pushing me and making me a better manager, leader and CEO.”
