Information Sharing Technology

Information Sharing is on the forefront of today’s public safety technology discussions. However, without complete, accurate and reliable information being gathered, there wouldn’t be much information to share.

In multi-agency/multi-jurisdictional installations IMPACT: RMS makes it easy to see your own jurisdiction’s information or information from neighboring departments or even data within the IMPACT Data Sharing community.

  • Information Sharing Configurations include Summary Only and Detailed Reporting.
  • Configurations can be determined on a data type by data type basis (module by module). Data includes criminal AND non-criminal contact information.
  • Departments have the control as to whom they wish to share information and at what levels by entering into reciprocal "agreements".
  • IMPACT supports the exclusion of specific cases/files from being shared if a department determines the information is sensitive, part of an on-going investigation or directed by the courts.
  • Complete audit trail of all information accessed.
